Finish Puukko Hunting Knife With Leather Sheath 1940s
Produced in Finland in the early 1940's. Wooden handle and steel blade. The blade and handle meassures 21cm and the blade is 10cm. The sheath is made of two sheets of leather riveted togather with 8 metal rivets. Belt loop intact, also riveted in Place. The sheath is nicely ornamented with a sticker decal to the center. The decal shows the Finish national flag.
Both knife and sheath shows clear signs of age and use. No damage.
Typical Finish knife produced in the 1940's. This type was also sold to german Soldiers stationed in Finland during the WWII!!
