Iron Cross 1'st class 1914
Standard issue cross. 3-piece construction with non-magnetic center. The cross is in very good condition With 99% of the black paint intact to the core and silver finish to the edges. Even the "frosting" is intact to about 85%!. Hinge, pin and Catch all intact to the reverse. The cross has a very nice slightly vaulted shape for a better fit when displayed on a tunic.
Not easy to find a finer example!!
