German Freikorps Medal, Silesian Eagle Second Class
 
Pretty scarce German medal, instituted on the 19 of June 1919 by Generalleutnant Friedrich von Friedeburg. The second class required at least three months of front service against the Polish upprising 1919-1923. This medal was one of the few Freikorps awards that were allowed to be worn on uniforms during the Third Reich.
 
Silesian Eagle Second Class made of Tombak with Bright silver highlights and black enamel work. Complete with ribbon ring and the correct White and yellow rayon ribbon. Very good condition with minor signs of age.
