Iron Cross 1'st class 1914 With Case of Issue
Standard issue cross. 3-piece construction with magnetic center. The cross is in used condition with a nice and even age/use patina all over. The black paint to the Iron core is intact to about 90%. Hinge, pin and Catch all intact to the reverse. The cross has a slightly vaulted shape for a better fit on the uniform.
The cross comes housed in it's original case of issue. Wood Construction with black leather simulated cover. Inside top lid is covered with White satin. Bottom has flock covered insert with a cut out for the cross hinge pin and Catch to fit in. The insert has a hand written name which is hard to read. The case shows clear signs of age and storage wear, see Pictures.
