Imperial German M1917 Named Camouflage Helmet

The helmet is made of stamped, sheet steel. And retains about 90+ % of its hand painted camouflage. The camouflage paint is in shades of dark green, beige and Brown/red in a random patch pattern with the colors being separated by black stripes. The helmet has both of the extended ventilation side lugs and all three of the flat headed liner retaining rivets. The interior of the helmet has 1917 pattern, three pad leather liner with sheet-metal retaining band intact. All three leather pads are complete and still have their original horse hair stuffing. The inside reverse of the helmet skirt has a name hand painted with White paint "G Martin". Size and manufacurer code no longer visable but the helmet is in a good large size. About 66-68.

The helmet shows clear signs of age and use. 90% or more of the camo paint is still intact. Liner band and rivets complete and has never been out with a very nice dust and Surface rust build up. Leather liner shows clear signs of age and use. Leather is rather dry but all complete.

Super nice, named and untouched WW1 camouflage helmet!!
